Young People from Greece at the European Adventist Youth Congress 2026

Young people from Greece took part in the European Adventist Youth Congress (AYC 2026), held from 4 to 8 August in Valencia, Spain, together with approximately 3,500 young Adventists from more than 50 countries.

From 4 to 8 August 2026, young people from across Europe gathered in Valencia, Spain, for the European Adventist Youth Congress (AYC 2026), one of the largest gatherings of Seventh-day Adventist young people in Europe.

Organised by the Trans-European Division (TED) and the Inter-European Division (EUD), the congress brought together nearly 3,500 young people from more than 50 countries at Feria Valencia. The programme included worship, Bible study, presentations, workshops and activities, giving participants opportunities to meet, share their faith and build friendships with young people from different countries and cultures.

Under the theme “Made for More – Belonging. Believing. Becoming.”, AYC 2026 invited young people to reflect on their identity and purpose through their relationship with God — to belong, to believe and to continue growing into what God is calling them to become.

Young people from Greece were also part of this European gathering, providing an opportunity to connect with the wider Adventist community and experience first-hand the international character and unity of the Church across Europe.

The congress concluded with the baptism of 21 young people. Beyond the experiences shared during the days in Valencia, particular emphasis was placed on what participants would take back to their local churches: a deeper relationship with God, new friendships and a renewed willingness to take an active part in the life and mission of the Church.

The participation of young people is an important part of the Greek Mission’s TOGETHER IN MISSION vision for the coming years, which identifies the active involvement of children and young people in the mission of the Church as one of its priorities.
