From 2 to 7 September 2026, the annual Workers’ Retreat of the Greek Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church was held at Kalamos Estate.
Greek Mission workers came together for several days of prayer, worship, Bible study and collaboration, with opportunities to share experiences and reflect on the ministry and mission of the Church in Greece.
Particular emphasis was placed on seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit and on planning together for the future direction of the Greek Mission. Prayer for God’s guidance was also the central theme of the first days of the September Prayer Calendar, inviting the Church to pray for workers as they gathered and planned for the mission ahead.
The retreat formed part of TOGETHER IN MISSION, the shared direction of the Greek Mission for the coming years. Its purpose is to encourage the Church to move forward in unity, with Christ at the centre, strengthening discipleship, service and the active participation of all in God’s mission.
The days at Kalamos Estate also provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships among workers and renew their shared commitment to serving God, the Church and people throughout Greece.
